Zenith B/Ball League: Delta Records First Victory

Delta Force of Asaba on Sunday recorded its first victory at the ongoing final phase of the Zenith Bank Female Basketball League in Lagos by beating AHIP Queens of Kano, 63-35. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that First Bank of Lagos recorded its fourth straight victory in the league by defeating Plateau Rocks of Jos 82-38. Govt Disburses N27m To Fadama Groups

By VICTORIA ODIA DELTA State Government has disbursed 27, 764,480 million naira to 52 Fadama User Groups (FUGs) in eleven Fadama Community Associations from five local government areas of the state. The Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Barrister Misan Ukubeyinje while making the disbursement said the beneficiaries must judiciously channel the money into development projects that would enhance their community.
