DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has reaffirmed his commitment to repositioning government owned media establishments for greater service delivery and mobilization of the people for development. Governor Uduaghan spoke yesterday in Asaba while addressing the Management and Staff of the Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS Asaba, after inspecting newly installed digital television facilities in the station. Delta IGR Hits N34.5 bn –Okumagba

BY AUSTIN OYIBODE With Agency Report DELTA State Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bernard Okumagba, yesterday said that the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) grew by 182 per cent between 2007 and 2012. The breakdown showed that the IGR rose to N34.5 billion in December 2011 from N12.2 billion in  2007. Funkekeme Issues Two-week Ultimatum To Two Contractors

DOMINIC OKONTA Worried by the snail pace of work at the Asaba Girls Grammar School (AGGS) 450-meter road project, Delta State Commissioner for Works, Hon. Solomon Funkekeme has given the contractor handling the work two-weeks ultimatum to complete the project or face sanction.
