Belgian Club Gent Sign Nigeria’s Moses Simon

Belgian club KAA Gent have agreed a three-year contract with speedy Nigeria winger Moses Simon.
The club announced the signing of the player on their official website Wednesday.
The 19-year-old winger, who has been capped by Nigeria at U20 level and featured at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey, was widely linked with a move to the English Premier League with top clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur being mentioned.
He has been called up by the Nigeria U20 team for the 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal.
Last year, he joined Slovak side AS Trencin and scored 17 goals in a total of 39 appearances for them.
Gent are currently fifth on the table with 34 points from 21 matches.
Last season, Gent placed seventh.
