Jonathan, Okowa Have Contributed Immensely Towards Devt, Says JOMAG

As the campaign for the 2015 general elections gather momentum, a pressure group angling for the re election bid of president Goodluck Jonathan as well as the activation of senator Ifeanyi Okowa’s gubernatorial ambition for the Delta state government House, Jonathan Mandate Group (JOMAG) has re affirmed its irrevocable commitment to the actualisation of this goal.
Outlining its belief in the Jonathan presidency bid and senator Okowa’s ambition, JOMAG maintained that both president Jonathan and senator Okowa have contributed immensely at various levels to the social, political and economic development of the society.
According to the group, President Jonathan through the transformation agenda has positively touched the lives of Nigerians and deserved a second bite at the presidential political pie for more dividends of democracy to the people.
JOMAG identified some of the key achievements of the Jonathan administration to include revolution of the agricultural sector, health, power, infrastructural facilities such as nationwide road network, unbundling of National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) the emergence of permanent voter’s card as well as his consistency in upholding the concept of rule of law.
The support group also hinged their support for Senator Okowa on the peoples’Democratic party’s track records adding that the gubernatorial candidate had the pedigree and credential for the position of governor of Delta state.
JOMAG particularly lauded senator Okowa’s steady rise from local government secretary through
local government chairman, three time commissioner in the state and currently senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria adding that this catalogue of achievements made him to tower above any other candidate for the gubernatorial race.
Added to these are his outstanding performance at the senate including his successful midwifing of the National health bill as well as his spirit of sportsmanship and the well articulated five point agenda hinged on industrial agricultural health, wealth creation among others.
JOMAG draws membership from accomplished leaders including Dr. Ronald Eyime and Sir. Paul Evhuarherhe among others.
