BY SAM DUVWODE There was calm at Otu-Jeremi, Ughelli South Local Government Area, the country home of the Delta State Deputy Governor, Prof. Amos Utuama, SAN, as the people of Otu-Jeremi defied the drizzling rain and turned out en masse to exercise their franchise.
At Ward 2 Unit 4, Otu-Jeremi, Prof. Amos Utuama and his wife, Dr. (Mrs) Nelly Utuama as well as other electorates in the ward were accredited through the INEC card reader and cast their votes at about 12.30 p.m.

Prof. Utuama, noted that the people are very much aware of their civic responsibility in relation to governance, hence the huge turnout to cast their votes and be part of the process and advised them to be law abiding throughout the election.
