Okowa’s Victory, Manifestation Of God’s Will ––Ozonuwe

The election of Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa as the Governor-elect of Delta state has been described as a clear manifestation of the will of God.
Chief Stephen .A. Ozonuwe of Ndemili Community in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, made the assertion in his Ndemili country home during a chat with newsmen. Chief Ozonuwe said that the best thing that has happened to Anioma nation and Delta state in general was to elect Senator Okowa as governor of the state.
Chief Ozonuwe, who said that he was overwhelmed by the landslide victory, said Okowa is his political Godfather and mentor. He also described the Governor-elect as a man of the moment with visionary ideas to move the state to the promise land.
He maintained that Okowa has vision that is strong enough to build a better Delta state, adding that this election was a step towards greater security, peace for the entire regime, youths empowerment, socio-economic and agricultural reforms as well as improvement in education at all levels, industrialization and massive infrastructural development in all nooks and crannies of the state.
Chief Ozonuwe noted that Okowa understands the challenges of developing the state and is a leader who feels the pain s of his people.
He disclosed that Okowa has designed a plan to touch children, youths, women, elderly, civil servants and professionals. Some of them according to chief Ozonuwe live amid violence, rejection and with broken hearts, noting that Okowa will reach out to those in despair in the state. He advised that all hands must be on deck to ensure that Okowa succeeds as governor. He expressed sincere appreciation to all those who contributed In one way or the other to ensure Okowa’s victory. He enjoined politicians in other political parties to emulate the exemplary leadership of president Goodluck Jonathan who he said despite all odds conceded defeat
