Govt ‘ll Respect Deltans’ Interest –Otuaro

THE Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro, has urged all ethnic nationalities to sue for peace, unity and love in the state, emphasizing that the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa would represent the interest of all Deltans.
Barrister Otuaro made the statement at a reception organized by the Ijaws in Delta State at Senator James Manager’s residence in Asaba.
He opined that government would keep its promise to the people and pledged to champion ideas that would bring the needed transformation to the Ijaw nation and the state in general.
The Deputy Governor commended the Ijaws for their love for the present government through their massive votes for the PDP at the 2015 general elections, saying that he was gladdened by the honour done him.
Meanwhile, the Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator James Manager, said Delta State was in safe hands as Governor Okowa and his deputy were people with tested and proven integrity of all round development.
He advised Deltans not to hesitate to contribute to move the state forward, stating that the growth of Delta State was everyone’s responsibility, irrespective of position, while peace was paramount if Deltans want Okowa and his team to succeed.
He said Delta State members in the National Assembly would have a robust working relationship with the state government as it had always been, promising to contribute his quota in ensuring that the dream of prosperity for all Deltans was achieved.
