Govt’s Open Door Policy Will Benefit All –Dame Edith Okowa

DELTANS have been assured of the readiness of Gov Okowa’s administration to run an open door policy for the benefit of everyone in the state.
The wife of the state Governor, Dame Mrs. Edith Okowa, gave the assurance when delegates of Permanent Secretaries of Post Primary Education Board Headquarters in the state paid her courtesy visit at the Government House, Asaba.
The governor’s wife, who was so excited over the visit, thanked them for creating time to see her and for being the first group to pay her a courtesy visit.
Dame Okowa, who referred to the group as her family, also used the occasion to thank them for standing by her with prayers and fasting throughout the election period for her husband’s victory.
She said that her office is open at any time to receive any of them.
Speaking, the leader of the delegation, Dr. Celestine Okoye said that the groups have been eager to see the Delta First Lady since she assumed office as one of their own, adding that God will be given glory for elevating her to this stage.
He said the good things was that God has chosen one of them to be lifted up so high, describing Dame Okowa as a woman of courage, who believes in the empowerment of mankind.
Dr. Okoye also commended the Delta First Lady her recent empowerment at the Ogwashi-Uku Prisons and prayed that God will help her to make it.
He assured the governor’s wife of their continued support to her programmes.
