Okowa, Man Of Impeccable Character, Group Leader Says

BY INNOCENT OSAKWE
The Coordinator of Enuani Democratic League, a socio-political organization, Hon. Collins Iwebunor has described the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as a man of impeccable character.
Hon. Iwebunor who stated this in a chat with our correspondent in Ogwashi-Uku noted that the last victory of the governor was a confirmation of what has been mandated to be through the will of the people whom the governor has empowered in the past and now.
While noting that Dr. Okowa is a rare gentleman who has all it takes to better the lots of Deltans, Iwebunor called on the people of Aniocha South and Deltans in general to support the government of Dr. Okowa by ensuring an enduring peace and atmosphere that is devoid of rancor and strife.
“This is because, no government can deliver on his promises when the atmosphere is not peaceful. We all know who the governor is, a man of his words; a man who has worked tirelessly to uplift the state, both as a onetime commissioner, secretary to the state government, senator of the federal republic and now a governor. Besides these positions, he is a man who has remained reliable and can be trusted. I am indeed proud of him and also quite sure that he will take Delta state to its deserved height.
“But we all know that for this to happen, all hands need to be on deck; otherwise, it will become a task full of strain and complain.
Everyone knows the effect of the economic melt down affecting virtually all states of the federation and should therefore not expect magic from the governor. Besides, the financial state of Delta presently requires the patience and understanding of everybody if we must make progress. It is therefore imperative that we stand by our governor and help him to pilot the affairs of the state to his height of dream in line with his campaign promises”, he said.
Hon. Iwebunor who lauded Deltans for voting the governor in, affirmed that they will not regret their choice of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the governor of Delta state.
