We’re Committed To Providing Prosperity For All Deltans -Ochonogor

THE Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has reiterated government’s determination to provide prosperity for all Deltans through its SMART Agenda.
Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Chief Festus Ochonogor, stated this recently while playing host to Force Movement, a focus group based in the state.
Chief Ochonogor also called on all Deltans to take advantage of the entrepreneurial schemes launched recently in the state by the Okowa administration, stressing that without the active participation of the citizenry, government will not succeed in its policies as the programmes of the government are people-oriented.
While soliciting the cooperation of all Deltans in the task ahead, he pointed out that though government may not unfold all its programmes simultaneously, the citizens should key in on those that have been launched as they await more programmes from the government.
Chief Ochonogor, who said government was not unmindful of the contribution of the various focus groups and non-indigene groups in the state to its overall success at the polls recently, added that government will continue to partner with these groups to succeed in its programmes and policies.
Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Chief Chiedu Idama, had pledged the loyalty and continued support of the Force Movement for the Okowa government and the success of the administration and called on the government to provide more opportunities for its teeming members, not only in the on-going skill acquisition and agricultural programmes, but also in all facets where they can contribute to the overall growth and development of the State.
With Chief Ochonogor were the Political Adviser to the Governor, Hon. Daniel Omimi Esquire; Hon. Godknows Angele, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Political); Hon. Tony Onah Special Assistant (Political) and Chief Ken Okiemute, Special Assistant (Political).
