Rohr Thrilled With Uyo Choice

SUPER Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has set his sights on a win over South Africa in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier in Uyo.
Rohr acknowledges that the clash with the 1996 Afcon champions will be tough but is hoping to mastermind
a win for Nigerian over their bitter rivals.
The trainer also spoke about his delight at the choice of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo and took the time to time to discuss the two players still expected at the ‘Eagles’nest’.
“Yes, we are happy to be here in Uyo. We like this place,” Rohr told journalists in Uyo on Tuesday.
“We won our last (two) games here so I hope this (game versus South Africa) will be a third victory.
“We are 22 today. Tomorrow, we’ll be 24. “We’ll start our training immediately.
“The two players (who will join us) tomorrow are Ahmed Musa and Elderson (Echiejile).
