“It’s a great feeling to score in my first game for the team. I made a promise to my mum who requested before
the game that I score a goal for her and I’m happy I was able to fulfil it,” Faleye revealed.
“I can imagine she is extremely happy now, and my other family members too.
“I was a bit nervous before and at the start of the game but after a while I settled down into the game and my performance improved as well.”
The young forward who played on loan at relegated Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan last season also vowed to continue to work hard to ensure he picks a spot in the final squad that will play at the African Nations
Championship in Morocco early next year.
“I don’t think am there yet as I still need to work harder to make the final list for the CHAN,” Faleye added
