Okowa Assessed Best Performing Governor

Obi Chie jile /Boji – Boji The state Governor, Senator Dr.IfeanyiOkowa has been assessed
as the best governor. Delta state has ever had since
its creation in terms of performance. The assessment was
made by the Chairman of Delta North Chapter of Non-indigenes’
Association in the state, Elder Peter Omoaholo in a statement
to newsmen at Boji-Boji metropolis at the weekend. Omoaholo
stated this while speaking on behalf of the non- indigenes of
the state , comprising different ethnic nationalities of non-
Delta state origin, said that Senator Okowa through his SMART
agenda was able to impact proactively on the lives of Deltans
and non-Deltans in spite of the harsh economic realities in
recent times
The Association noted that the experience which Okowa
has gathered from the grassroots administration up to the
Senatorial level has enabled him to rise from zero to hero in the
activities of piloting the affairs of the state without discriminationagainst
any ethnic nationality in the state.
Considering the good governance of Okowa contingent on
his prosperity agenda, the association said that it has made it
compulsory that the non –indigenes should troop out to vote
enmasse for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),during the local
government election slated for January 6, 2018, adding that PDP
is the governor’s party. The Association has in another development
commended the State Chairman of the Association, Chief
Joseph Ikhena for mobilising the coordinators earlier in the
year to ensure that non-indigenes have their voters’ cardsso
as to vote for PDP during the forth coming election. The Delta
North Chapter of the Association has described Ikhena as a
man of focused planning with strategy to mobilise the people
for success.
