Delta PDP Group Commend Okowa, Urge Youths To Vote Wisely

As the year draws to an end, the executive and entire
members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP),
Faithful Youths, Delta State chapter , have commended
the state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, for all
he has achieved in 2017 and his untiring efforts through
the people-oriented SMART Agenda and infrastructural
development, especially in the areas of road construction,
youth empowerment and security across the 25 local
government area of the state. The group has also called
on youths to come out enmasse and vote for PDPcome
the January 6, 2018 local government elections.
The President of the PDP Faithful Youths, Delta State
chapter, Mr Japhet Ikporikpo made the commendation
and plea during an interactive session with The Pointer,
in Asaba, Delta state capital. He said ‘’it will interest you
to know that that Okowa has ensured that the peace
in the state is sustained , and this has, in no small way,
boosted the economic activities in the state and has also
attracted more investors to the state’’
The group also hailed those behind the success story
of the SMART Agenda of the Okowa administration and
urged them not to relent, as the programme is putting
smiles in the faces of the youths across the state.
The group lauded the Delta State PDP Chairman
Barrister Kingsley Esiso, the Secretary to the State
Government(SSG), Rt Hon Festus Ovie Agas, the Head
of Service, Mr Reginald Bayoko, the Commissioner of
Youth Development Mr Asupa Forteta,th Commissioner
of Justice and Attorney-General, Mr. Peter Mrakpor, the
Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon Austin Chikezie, the
Speaker, Delta state House of Assembly, Rt, Hon, Sheriff
Oborevwori , the Commissioner for Works, Mr Jude
Aguoye, and Chairman .Delta stateof Internal Board Of
Revenue , Mr Monday Onyemen,
Ikporikpo added that ‘’all youths should come out
irrespective of your senatorial district, religion, tribe
and culture to see that we support our party to coast to
victory successfully and ,by extension, to deliver Okowa,
come 2019.’’
He also called on the youths in Ukwuani local government
area to remained focused and not to be distracted
by what occurred during the final flag off campaign
ceremony, but rather we should not relent in moving
the state forward.
