Yuletide: Lady Oseme Applauds Dame Okowa Over Christmas Gifts

The wife of the immediate past Chairman of Aniocha
North Local Government Area, Delta State, Lady
Adaobi Oseme, has applauded the kind gesture of
the wife of State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa for her
benevolent attitude for putting smileS in the face of children,
orphans and other women during Xmas season.
Lady Oseme said that this season is a season of showering
gifts to the needy as well as the loved ones to enable them
enjoy and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ without
She urged other women to emulate the kind gesture of
Dame Okowa, who she said cannot celebrating her own
Xmas without putting smile in other people’s faces.
“Since we enter Xmas season, her Excellency has been
showering different gifts from one group to the other
especially through her O5 initiative. The other day was the
distribution of different items to orphanages, Xmas rice to
widows and later, it was children’s party and many others.
It is not an easy task, I commended her effort and pray God
to strengthen her in this course.” she prayed.
“Through her O5 Initiative project, many lives have
been touched in one way or the other. We are proud of her
ministry and we shall continue supporting the programme”
she said
Lady Oseme who was optimist that the PDP would record
landslide victory in the forthcoming local government
election slated Jan 6, 2018, urged the people of Aniocha
North to come and exercise their franchise.
She said the choice of her husband Hon. Chuks Oseme
to fly the PDP flag for the election is a right decision for the
Aniocha people, stressing that the leadership style of Hon.
Oseme’s first tenure was a commendable one, thus given
him an edge for another contest.
While thanking the people of the council area for their
support so far, She pledged her total support for the
programme of Dame Okowa and that of Aniocha North.
She reminded Deltans that the Christ is reason for
celebration, “while you are celebrating Xmas I want use this
opportunity to tell Deltans to remember that Jesus is the
reason for celebration, love and try to love your neighbours
and celebrate with him or her no matter the little, it will go
a long way in their homes” she added.
