Delta State LG Polls: Arhiyor Congratulates Onoyake On Electoral Victory

A leading aspirant of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for Delta State House of Assembly in Uvwie constituency, Chief Francis Arhiyor has congratulated
Hon Ramson Tega Onoyake on his landslide victory at the just concluded January 6, 2018 Local Government Council elections.
Speaking with newsmen in Asaba, Chief Arhiyor who recently declared his intention to contest as member Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA )in 2019 to represent
the Uvwie people, expressed delight over the cheery news of the landslide victory of Hon Onoyake as Chairman, Uvwie Local Government.
According to the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC), Hon Onoyake scored 103,308 to defeat his APC rival with a paltry 593 votes.
He noted that he was impressed by the confidence displayed by the good people of Uvwie on the PDP, describing
the elections as peaceful and credible.
Chief Arhiyor assured the electorate of Hon Onoyake’s
clear vision and ability to get the job done in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people as anchored by the SMART agenda of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration.
He commended the Delta State Governor, Sen Okowa for providing a level playing ground for contestants in the peaceful elections.
