Gov’s Aide Calls On Youths To Be Peaceful

The Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Economic Matters, Hon. George Adarighofua Orogun, has called on youths of Orhoakpor community to remain peaceful and law abiding, promising to surmount the challenges confronting them.
Hon. Orogun made the call at his residence in Orhoakpor when he played host to community youths over the week.
According to him, “l hosted them to actually ask them (youths), the various challenges facing them and how we can reason together to surmount it one after the other because we reside in Asaba, and we cannot known from there, some of the problems facing them”
“Without hosting them like this, it will be difficult to known what they want, with this, l have known some of the problems facing them and l will be working with them to make sure that some of the problems are addressed.”
While saying that the gathering is not for political purposes but is an avenue to cross fertilize ideas for the development of the youths in the community, Hon. Orogun however called on them to remain focus and shun any act of violence and continue to support the Governor Okowa led-administration so that more development could come the community.
On their parts, the Youth Leader, Mr. Ese Onoakpoma, who spoke on behalf of other youths during the gathering, commended Hon. Orogun for hosting them, promising to continue to work with him.
He said, inter-alia: “We are happy because nobody has ever called us like this to ask us the problems we are facing and how it could be solved, you are the first person among the well-to-do of Orhoakpor sons and daughters, may God continue to stand for you”
