2018: You’lll Enjoy God’s Support If You’re Faithful, Apostle Oki Tells Christians

CHRISTIANS in Nigeria have been assured of God’s continued support if they abide by his tenets in 2018. Apostle M.T.O Oki, gave the exhortation during his ‘2018 first prayer-breakfast’ held at Irri, Isoko South Local Government Area last week.
Oki who is president of Christ Chosen Deliverance Church Worldwide, reiterated the imperative of faith in the service of God. He alluded to the Old Testament stories of Elisha and Ruth to clarify faith and obedience as virtues that could deliver God’s plenteous blessings to the believer.
The cleric stressed that it was faith and obedience that governed Elisha’s steadfastness in following Elijah to the point where he (Elijah) transferred miracle working powers into him.
Oki also posited that Ruth’s exalted position in the scriptures as one of the ancestors of Jesus Christ would not have been possible but for her tenacity in following her mother-in-law, Naomi.
His words: “If you read the book of Ruth Chapter 2, you would see that Ruth’s tenacity in following and serving her mother-in-law, Naomi was governed by faith and obedience. The result? Today, she is mentioned prominently in the scriptures as one of the great ancestors of our Lord, Jesus Christ”
The Apostle therefore urged Christians everywhere on the planet earth to serve God faithfully and obediently, if they are to enjoy divine protection and provision in 2018.
