Civil Service Week Quiz Contest Begins In Asaba

A quiz competition organised for civil servants in Delta State as part of activities marking this year’s civil service week celebration in the state has commenced in Asaba.
According to our reporter, the contest opened on Tuesday with staff of the office of the Deputy Governor slugging it out with their counterparts in the Directorate of Culture and Tourism.
The contestants were quizzed on civil service rules, financial regulations and current affairs.
At the end, civil servants in the office of the Deputy Governor scored a total of 59 points to defeat their Culture and Tourism rivals who secured 32-and-half points.
The opening ceremony, our reporter added, was anchored by Joy Ochei of Delta Broadcasting Sservice (DBS), Asaba.
In an interview with journalists, the Director of Middle Management, Office of the Head of Service, Mrs. Anthonia Ubogu, said the competition was aimed at enabling civil servants in the state refresh their knowledge in the public service.
